Cast of Siyah Kalp - Black Heart - Dark Heart
The new Turkish drama series “Siyah Kalp”, featuring leading actors Ece Uslu, Aras Aydın, and Leyla Tanlar, is set to premiere on Show TV this season.
Sumru (Ece Uslu) abandoned her twins at a young age and married a wealthy businessman, Samet (Burak Sergen). Years later, the twins, Nuh (Aras Aydın) and Melek (Hafsanur Sancaktutan), discover who their mother is and travel to Cappadocia. Upon arriving at the luxurious mansion, Nuh meets Sevilay (Leyla Tanlar), while Melek crosses paths with Cihan (Burak Tozkoparan), Samet’s son from his first marriage. Although Sumru tries to keep her children hidden and distant from the family, Melek and Nuh manage to infiltrate both the family and the hearts of Cihan and Sevilay.
Ece Uslu, a 49-year-old Turkish actress, was born on September 9, 1974, in İzmir, Turkey. She has been acting in TV series and films since 1990.
Most recently, in 2024, she joined the final few weeks of the series “Şahane Hayatım“ as the character Ece Ağazade. Although she has appeared in many series over the years, she gained significant recognition for her role as Ebru from 2013 to 2016.
Ece Uslu is currently portraying the character Sumru Şansalan in the new Show TV drama “Siyah Kalp.”
Aras Aydın, a 35-year-old Turkish actor, was born on January 4, 1989, in Eskişehir, Turkey. In 2022, he married 42-year-old actress Melis Birkan.
Since 2010, he has appeared in various television series as a guest star, supporting actor, and lead actor. However, he has yet to star in a long-running or highly popular series.
Aras Aydın is currently playing the lead role of Nuh in the series “Siyah Kalp.”
Hafsanur Sancaktutan, a 24-year-old Turkish actress, was born on March 20, 2000, in Istanbul, Turkey. She made her acting debut in 2018 as a supporting actress in the TV series “Gülperi.” She later starred in leading roles in series such as “Aşk Ağlatır,” “Darmaduman,” and “Ya Çok Seversen.”
Hafsanur Sancaktutan is currently portraying the character Melek in the 2024 series “Siyah Kalp.”
Leyla Tanlar, a 25-year-old Turkish actress, was born on December 13, 1997, in Istanbul, Turkey. She starred in the lead role in the series “Paramparça” from 2014 to 2017. She has also played leading roles in “Ferhat ile Şirin,” “Şahin Tepesi,” and “Güzel Günler.”
Currently, Leyla Tanlar is portraying the character Sevilay in the series “Siyah Kalp.”
Burak Tozkoparan, a 31-year-old Turkish actor, was born on November 14, 1992, in Rize, Turkey. From 2014 to 2017, he was part of the cast of “Paramparça,” the same series that starred Leyla Tanlar. He continued acting in various TV series, with one of his popular roles being in “Menajerimi Ara.”
In the series “Siyah Kalp,” Burak Tozkoparan portrays the character Cihan Şansalan.
Esra Dermancıoğlu, a 55-year-old Turkish actress, was born on December 7, 1968, in Istanbul, Turkey.
Although she has appeared in many TV series since 2008, she is best known for her role as Behice in “Bir Zamanlar Çukurova,” which aired from 2009 to 2021. Most recently, she gained further recognition for her role as Asiye Leto in the series “Hudutsuz Sevda.” She played leading roles in both series.
Currently, Esra Dermancıoğlu is portraying the character Hikmet in the 2024 series “Siyah Kalp.”
Burak Sergen, a 63-year-old Turkish actor, was born on February 9, 1961, in Ankara, Turkey. Recently, he married 37-year-old Gizem Şağban, marking his fourth marriage.
Burak Sergen has appeared in numerous theater plays, films, and television series. He recently gained attention for his performance as Rızvan Leto in “Hudutsuz Sevda.” He has also been featured in popular Turkish series such as “Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz,” “Çukur,” and “Kara Sevda.”
Currently, Burak Sergen is playing the character Samet in the series “Siyah Kalp.”
Genco Özak, a 31-year-old Turkish actor, was born on November 22, 1992, in Istanbul, Turkey. He has previously appeared in TV series and films such as “Kocamın Ailesi” (2014), “Vatanım Sensin” (2016), “Kor” (2016), “Kaybedenler Kulübü 2” (2017), “Güvercin” (2020), “Benim Hayatım,” “Çukur” (2020-2021), and “Tetikçinin Oğlu” (2023).
Directed by Uluç Bayraktar and written by Yıldız Tunç, Siyah Kalp will take viewers through the mysterious and intrigue-filled story of the Şansalan family, one of the most powerful families in Cappadocia.

The new Turkish series “Siyah Kalp” is filmed in Cappadocia, one of Turkey’s most beautiful regions located in Nevşehir. It is not yet clear whether the series will be set entirely there. Typically, Turkish series start in various cities and continue in Istanbul.
Siyah Kalp will premiere in September 2024.
The English original title of the series “Siyah Kalp” is currently unknown, but it is expected to be “Black Heart” or “Dark Heart”.
