One of the Turkish series that was clear from the first episode it wouldn’t succeed, “Güzel Aşklar Diyarı,” will end after its 6th episode. The show, which failed to meet expected ratings, is set to be canceled.

No Surprise
Today, the announcement was made that “Güzel Aşklar Diyarı” will be ending its run. This came as no surprise to me or to Turkish viewers, as the show’s fate was already predicted due to its weak script, poor casting choices, and lazy, cliché production techniques.

Fifth Turkish Series Canceled This Month
“Güzel Aşklar Diyarı” becomes the fifth Turkish series to be canceled this month. Previously, “Kör Nokta“, “Kötü Kan,” and last season’s “Taş Kağıt Makas“ were quickly axed. Yesterday, “Kirli Sepeti“ was also announced to be coming to an end.
