One of the most watched series in Turkey is the Turkish drama series “Kizilcik Serbeti” (translated as “Cornelian Cherry Sherbet”). Adapted from a true story, the series airs on Show TV every Friday night and has become one of the most watched series among Turkish dramas, leading the list.

The Plot and Story of the TV Series “Kızılcık Şerbeti”:

Kıvılcım (Evrim Alasya), a well-educated, realistic, and modern woman, stands strong after divorcing her husband, raising her two daughters based on her beliefs. Her younger daughter, Çimen (Selin Türkmen), is still in high school, while her elder daughter, Doğa (Sıla Türkoğlu), is studying dentistry at university. Kıvılcım’s only desire is to see her children successful and happy in the future.

When Doğa gets married to her boyfriend in her first year of university, Kıvılcım experiences a major disappointment when she meets her daughter’s husband’s family. Fatih’s (Doğukan Güngör) family is conservative, which Kıvılcım thinks is incompatible with her daughter’s view of life. However, Doğa believes that their love can overcome any differences. “Kızılcık Şerbeti” is a love story caught between two families with different beliefs but similar values.
