Starring Ertan Saban and Damla Sönmez, along with strong names like Hüseyin Avni Danyal and Levent Ülgen, Now TV’s new Turkish series “Kötü Kan” couldn’t stand the competition and was decided to be taken off the air.

The series “Kötü Kan,” which premiered with its first episode on Friday, September 6, 2024, has decided to end with its 6th episode.

The story of the series “Kötü Kan”:

“Kötü Kan” tells the story of Kartal, a former police officer now working as a head of security at a nightclub. One night, the death of an underage girl at the club forces Kartal to confront the dark truths behind the nightclub’s operations, and he soon realizes he’s entangled in a criminal network he never wanted to be a part of… The story unfolds along these lines.

Couldn’t compete with its rivals:

“Kötü Kan” aired every Friday at 8:30 PM (Turkey time) on NOW TV. However, other powerful series like “Kızılcık Şerbeti,” “Karaağaç Destanı,” and “Yalı Çapkını” dominated Friday nights, leaving little room for competitors.

By choosing Friday as its air day, “Kötü Kan” made an initial mistake and couldn’t withstand the competition, leading to its decision to end the series with the 6th episode.
