Uraz Kaygılaroğlu posed for his girlfriend, the photo artist Sayna Soleimanpour’s exhibition “Life in Plastic.” However, the photos of decapitated women sparked criticism.

My aim was to support the art project of someone special in my life. If the images that emerged due to the support I gave caused discomfort in our society, I cannot dismiss it by simply calling it art and I want to express how sorry I am. My intention was never to evoke bad feelings. Therefore, I apologize to everyone.”
