It seems that Turkish dramas struggle to maintain their excitement into a second season. Writers face challenges in creating fresh storylines, leading to a loss of the original season’s charm. Unfortunately, this trend often causes audiences to lose interest.
The Turkish drama Sandık Kokusu initially saw solid ratings, but ratings have noticeably dropped since the beginning of its second season. If this decline continues, Sandık Kokusu may have to conclude with a series finale, bidding farewell to the audience sooner than expected.
Four Cast Members Exit the Show
In season 2 of Sandık Kokusu, four actors have left the cast. Among them is Necip Memili, who played one of the series’ central characters, Reha. The other departing actors include Seda Türkmen (Lale), Ece İrtem (Hande), and Sercan Badur (Mert).
Two New Characters Join Sandık Kokusu
The first new addition is Hakan, who arrives as a security guard with a mysterious personality. Hakan will develop a close connection with Ayça (played by Nesrin Cavadzade), surprising viewers with his storyline. Another new character, İhsan, will partner up with Gülnaz (played by Gözde Seda Altuner), bringing fresh dynamics to the plot.
