The Turkish drama series “Gaddar,” starring Çağatay Ulusoy, Sümeyye Aydoğan, and Onur Saylak, premiered on NOW TV on January 19, 2024.
Plot and Story of “Gaddar” series:
After returning home from a long military service, Dağhan’s (Çağatay Ulusoy) life is no longer the same. His beloved girl Aydan (Sümeyye Aydoğan) has left without telling him, and his brother Rüzgar (Fatih Berk Şahin) has fallen into a dark world. The series portrays Dağhan’s transformation into a ruthless man in the midst of his life suddenly turning upside down.

Selahattin (Sevket Coruh)
To protect his loved ones, Dağhan has only one option: to be ruthless. In the fight against evil, he must become like them, not white or gray, but pitch black.
Aydan (Sümeyye Aydoğan)
Outspoken and unable to tolerate injustice, a bit stubborn, and despite being deeply in love, she’s someone who stands firm against men. She never gives up being the one to make her decisions. This will be the thing that shapes her life.
Müdür (Onur Saylak)
Mysterious, sarcastic, and unsettling. He knows the rules of the street but doesn’t look mafia-like. He is the second man of a secret and illegal organization called “the Company.” Those who know him call him “the Director.” He has dozens of hired killers under his command.
Ekber (Erdal Özyağcılar)
Enver’s father. Although he plays the role of a “principled” tough guy to his son and those around him, he is actually a complete tyrant.
Enver (Alper Çankaya)
His father Ekber has always crushed him. So, for him, work is a bit of a challenge to his father. He tries to stir up trouble and take over places because he wants to be a bigger name than his father. He is deeply in love with Yağmur.
Fatma (Laçin Ceylan)
Like every mother, she loves her children and has a habit of hiding important things about them from their father. She also has a side that turns a small sensitivity into a “stubborn” determination.
Davut (Hakan Salınmış)
Davut is an honest, conscientious man. He is not an indifferent father; he is saddened by his children’s dispersal but has not been able to fix it. Dağhan’s leaving has also saddened him, made him fall into despair, and made him a bit indifferent to life.
Rüzgar (Fatih Berk Şahin)
A real talker, sarcastic, doesn’t care about anything. He is a cute, friendly guy. He becomes aimless after his brother leaves and also quits the school he doesn’t like. He gets involved in various “dirty” jobs to make money.
Yağmur (Itır Esen)
Dağhan’s sister. She is not ambitious, loves her family, and is quiet and calm. She falls in love with Enver. Although she eventually discovers his cruel side, she won’t be able to change it.
Oya (Neslihan Yeldan)
Aydan’s mother. She is attractive, likes embellishments, and is a bit manipulative. She enters her daughter into a beauty contest so that she can have a better life. When Dağhan leaves her daughter, she takes advantage of the situation to cut ties completely. If they get close again, she will go to any lengths to separate them.
Şengül (Müge Bayramoğlu)
Şengül is a calm, meek woman. She tries to stand up for her son without being dependent on anyone. She often fails. Sometimes she can feel hopeless and is prone to depression.
Gürkan (Aytek Şayan)
A workaholic policeman. He is respected in the neighborhood but has no close relationships with anyone. He hangs out alone. As Dağhan confronts him with various crimes, he becomes obsessed with catching him. Aydan’s presence undoubtedly strengthens this obsession.
Kurt (Uğur Yıldıran)
A quiet, calm, strange guy. He only eats stick crackers. We don’t know anything about his life. He probably doesn’t know himself either.
