Starring Özgü Kaya and Burak Berkay Akgül, along with a lineup of surprise actors, the new Turkish drama series “Güzel Aşklar Diyarı” is set to premiere soon!
As the new season unfolds, several ambitious Turkish drama series are hitting the screens. One of the most highly anticipated is Güzel Aşklar Diyarı, a production by renowned filmmaker Mahsun Kırmızıgül.
Set to air on Kanal D, the project, led by Kırmızıgül, officially kicked off with a table read.
The series, which took two and a half years to prepare, introduced its star-studded cast to the media during the table read event.
Kırmızıgül commented, “We began preparing for this story about two and a half years ago. Meltem Cumbul closed up her home in New York and moved back here. Halil Ergün, after a long hiatus, agreed to join this project. We have an amazing cast. We’ll start filming in Cappadocia this month, followed by shoots in the Black Sea region and Diyarbakır. We’ve gathered the right people for a great project.”
After 10 years away, Meltem Cumbul returns to Turkish TV with Güzel Aşklar Diyarı and expressed her excitement: “I’ve been waiting for this project for so long that it feels like a birth has taken place. The table read went really well. I could see the characters more clearly, and I started to visualize the scenes in my mind. The story really excites me because it beautifully portrays the importance of family and love. Plus, when I was a child, I spent three years in Cappadocia due to my father’s work. It’s a place I love dearly, and reading the story with that location in mind made it even more meaningful for me.”

Produced by Medyapım and Boyut Film, Güzel Aşklar Diyarı boasts a powerful cast. The lineup includes Halil Ergün, Özgü Kaya, Burak Berkay Akgül, Meltem Cumbul, Melis Birkan, Ege Kökenli, Özgür Emre Yıldırım, Ekin Aksoy, Berkan Şal, Ali Başar, İbrahim Dizlek, Miray Akay, Yankı Ayhan, Yunus Narin, Ersel Şibil, Mustafa Arda Işık, and Işıltısu Alyanak. The music for the series is also composed by Mahsun Kırmızıgül.
The series Güzel Aşklar Diyarı currently does not have an official translation in English, German, or Spanish. However, it is speculated that the English translation might be “Land of Beautiful Loves”. Official translations will be announced by authorized sources in the future.
